|This page contains useful information about Cy-Tera.|
The Cy-Tera system will be shutdown during the forthcoming Friday, 1st of November 2013, for scheduled maintenance.
We anticipate that the system will come back by the end of the day.
HPC Sites will perform ordinary systems’ maintenance once a month. The maintenance window for Cy-Tera is every first Monday of the month.
In case of emergency, i.e. any upgrade/change requiring immediate action, the maintenance will occur as soon as possible. Users will be informed accordingly.
Each user is given an initial disk quota of 20 GB for their $HOME directory.
All users have disk quota in their $WORK directory, according to the allocation that was given to their project.
Only the $HOME directory is backed up.
The $WORK directory is not backed up and users have to transfer their data from the system after the end of their project.
Information about the queues implemented on Cy-Tera and Job Submission can be found here.
